These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Himachal News Android application ("the App"), published by Deploy Dash. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of the App
Himachal News is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of the App by, anyone else.
2. News Content
The App aggregates and summarizes news from third-party publishers, with the original source credited on each story. Summaries are generated for quick reading and may not capture every detail of the original report — tap the source credit to read the full story on the publisher's own site. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content shown in the App, and news content should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any decision.
3. Intellectual Property
The Himachal News name, logo, and app design are the property of Deploy Dash. Underlying news content remains the property of the respective original publishers. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute App content for commercial purposes without permission from the relevant rights holder.
4. Notifications
If you enable push notifications, you agree to receive breaking news alerts from the App. You can disable these at any time from Settings.
5. Availability
We aim to keep the App running smoothly but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features of the App at any time without prior notice.
6. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deploy Dash shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or reliance on its content.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Himachal Pradesh, India.
